From December 2001, the ICR Property Group became subject to the National Privacy Principles as stated in the Privacy Act 1988. The ICR Property Group is unswerving in its commitment to protecting your privacy and we take all reasonable steps to ensure the security of any personal information that you may provide to us. Such information will only be used for the purposes for which its collection was intended and will not be sold by the ICR Property Group to any third party.
We define such personal information as any information collected about you that makes your identity known.
Normally we collect your personal information directly from you when you:
- Make enquiries about properties and leases and ICR Property Group services
- Send us instructions, correspondence and applications
- Visit our website at: www.icrpropertygroup.com
- When you liaise with us by phone, correspondence or in person
- Ask us to keep in contact with you regarding your service requirements
If it is requested by law to provide your personal information to a court, tribunal, or other third party in response to a subpoena or to the ATO, then in all cases you will be notified before such information is disclosed.
Your information will be only be used by the ICR Property Group in order to respond to your request for information or to provide you with information regarding properties that may be of interest to you. Occasionally we may send you information that may be of interest to you about our services, if you do not wish to receive such information, you may request this and we, in all cases, will acknowledge such a request.
You may request access to any information we may hold about you at any time by writing to the ICR Property Group at Level 4, 21 Victoria St, Melbourne, VIC 3000.
If for any reason we are not obligated to provide you with such information, an explanation will be provided. You may request that your personal information be removed from our database, again by writing to the above address.
As a rule, the ICR Property Group collects personal information in order to fulfill its service obligations to existing and prospective clientele in addition to the following:
- To provide advice to clients
- To assess tenancy applications
- To prepare property valuations
- To provide specific services that you requested us to carry out
- To maintain service-orientated databases on property and property owners, purchases, tenants, landlords and consultants.
We may update this privacy policy in response to changes in the law or for other reasons.
