Hardware Purchase in Kensington
A hardware business has purchased a warehouse property in Kensington, Victoria, in a deal negotiated by agents of ICR Property Group.
The former motorbike distribution facility at 329-341 Arden Street, Kensington includes a two-storey office area. ICR Property Group agent Raff De Luise marketed the property, which sold to Access Hardware for $3.7 million.
Peter Stevens Motorcycles used the 2800sqm property since 2007, but are now vacating in order to consolidate operations in a central location. It is understood that family owned Access Hardware, which has operated since 1975, intends to expand its range of Australian and international products at the property.
According to agents, Kensington is undergoing much revitalisation as an urban renewal area and will provide a major land holding for years to come.
